About Tennessee Valley Winery
As Sony and Phillips debuted the first commercial CD players another big debut was happening in Tennessee as Tennessee Valley Winery acquired their business license and became one of the short list wineries operating in 1984. Thirty plus years later, we have grown to include over sixty wineries, but each individually doing some remarkable things.
Specializing in Muscadine , Sweet and Fruit Wines, Tennessee Valley caters to our Sweet Tea lovers who know that sometimes life is better sipping something sweet on a back porch away from the stresses of everyday life. As our biggest seller Country Red boasts rich concord grapes exploding in your mouth, and lingering in your memory of a childhood filled with jams at your breakfast table, you will not find yourself disappointed with this heavily awarded best in show wine. Our Muscadine Wines take the second spot, as a whole, and come in a variety of sweet and semi – sweet, as well as red or the popular white, or scuppernong; always a treat, these wines will leave you thirsty for more of their cotton candy finish. In third is our Blackberry Wine, still made exclusively with whole fruit, no concentrates added, our fruit wines are often compared to just fruit juice “with a kick”, though seasonal, you can find our fruit wines pretty readily available, and also as a base for some of our secret blends.
If the sweet wines aren’t your thing, we also feature a few dry and off dry grape wines, with our Riesling being at the top for most internationally awarded. Three Dry Reds and a Blush really make it possible for everyone to find a flavor that suits them perfectly. At full capacity we have 26 wines, at least one for every taste, and we pride ourselves in being able to help even the pickiest connoisseurs.
Tennessee Valley Winery is more than just your typical tasting room and cellar/production room. We do events year round that turn our cellar into a Lounge, and our grounds into the stage for amazing live music. We average several weddings and corporate events every year, and we hold holiday themed events for our regulars, supporting local charities as much as we can. We’ve always been community focused, featuring local artists and farm products in our tasting room and keep the Shop Local mindset in everything we do.
We hope you’ll come visit soon, we have a lot to offer wrapped up in a small package. You’ll be greeted by a warm family vibe just by walking through our doors, which are open to the public 362 days every year. We offer free tastings, discounts, as well as a reward program, and we still ship to every state including our own if you can’t find us in a liquor store or grocery store in your area. We cannot wait to show you what we’re made of!
