About Spout Spring Estates Winery and Vineyard

Spout Spring Estates (SSE) is located on a knob (a rounded hill or mountain; knoll) in Grainger County. The fruit for the wine is locally grown, processed into wine and bottled for sale on the farm.

95% of the varietals grown are the European Varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, Chardonnay and Sangiovese. As a southern winery, we soon realized that we needed to plant Muscadine vines, so we now offer Muscadine Wine.

We want your visit here to be a memorable experience. There is a covered pavilion with 360 degree views of the Smoky Mountains, Clinch Mountains and House Mountain. Although wine is not sold by the glass, bottles may be purchased along with cheese or summer sausage to eat while you relax on the pavilion; or you may bring your own picnic. Vineyard and winery tours are offered.

In addition to having a vineyard and winery, SSE provides and exceptional venue for weddings and other events.
