Description:
Clinch Mountain Winery is located at the foot of Clinch Mountain just 200 yards from a public boat launch to the Clinch River. We have a beautiful creek running beside our barn-like building along with a tasting bar and a gift shop. We also have observation windows into the winery operation.

Hound Dog Red, Clinch River Red, Mountain Mist, Moon Wine, Blackberry, Strawberry, Chambourcin, Seyval, Chardonnay and Niagara.

Other Points of Interest:
Veteran's Overlook, Elrod Falls, Cumberland Gap, Clinch River Boat Launch, Lincoln Memorial University.

Directions from Nashville or Knoxville

1. Take I-40 east.

2.  Take exit 421 on the left.  This becomes I-81 north towards Bristol.

3.  Go another 8 miles on I-81.

4.  Take exit 8 (U.S. 25-E) and go north.  U.S. 25-E is a four-lane divided highway with very few traffic lights.

5. Go 7 miles north on U.S. 25-E through Morristown.  (You'll pass the exits for U.S. 11-E.)

6.  Go  another 9 miles to Bean Station.  U.S. 25-E will merge with U.S. 11-W, and the two roads will run together for a few miles.

7.  Go  3 miles.  U.S. 11-W will exit off to the right.  Stay on U.S. 25-E. 

8.  Go  13.5 miles to Bullen Valley Road.  (This is just before you cross the Clinch River.)  Turn left onto Bullen Valley Road. 

Note: during this 13.5 miles, U.S. 25-E will climb Clinch Mountain.  At the top, you'll see a scenic outlook on the left.  This is Veteran's Overlook, and the view is fantastic.  After the overlook, U.S. 25-E will go back down the other side of Clinch Mountain.  Bullen Valley Road is at the bottom of the grade just before you cross the bridge.

9.  Go 1.6 miles to Clinch Mountain Winery on your left.

This map shows how the Clinch River crosses U.S. 25-E.  It then flows down into the beginning of Norris Lake.  The water is flowing from right to left.

 

 

Directions from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg

1.  Take U.S. 441 north to Sevierville.

2.  Take TN 66 north for 8 miles back to I-40.  (This is exit 407 of I-40.)

3.  Take I-40 north for 14 miles.

4.  Take exit 421 on the left.  This becomes I-81 north towards Bristol.

5.  Go another 8 miles on I-81.

6.  Take exit 8 (U.S. 25-E) and go north.  U.S. 25-E is a four-lane divided highway with very few traffic lights.

7. Go 7 miles north on U.S. 25-E through Morristown.  (You'll pass the exits for U.S. 11-E.)
